Holy Week often brings with it a myriad of emotions. You may feel exhausted or excited, disappointed or exhilarated. Perhaps you’ve struggled through Lent to take actionable steps of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, and you might be thinking, “I can’t wait until we’re past Easter!”
Or maybe you’re feeling the opposite. If you’re preparing to enter the Church at the Easter Vigil, or if your Lent has been particularly spiritual, you might be thinking, “I’m almost sad to see Lent end!”
But no matter where you may be — spiritually and emotionally — as you enter into Holy Week, these last few days before Easter can be efficacious for everyone, no matter what kind of Lent you may have experienced.
Here's a great video from one of the speakers at this year's Gathering of Catholic Men, Greg Willits. In this video he talks about how sometimes it is in these last few days were the greatest amount of spiritual blessings can be found, and he provides a few ideas to help you dive more deeply into how to have a holy Holy Week.
