MEN'S GROUP RESOURCES
CMF recommends the following resources for our Fellowship groups. These resources are designed to aid men in their Faith journey and support those both new and experienced in the walk.
We would be happy to help you with any questions you have on these resources. As always, we recommend you consult with your Pastor on any new resource to ensure he is in agreement with its use.
Into The Breach -
Along with reading and studying the document, engaging personally and as groups of men in the spiritual battle and struggle for virtue and excellence, and developing the interior life of prayer needed to live fully as a Christian man, Bishop Olmsted is urging a MOVEMENT in Christian engagement on several fronts—dealing with cultural breaches that are in great need of courageous engagement.

Word on Fire (Bishop Robert Barron) -
Word on Fire Catholic Ministries exists to draw people into the body of Christ, which is the Church, and thereby give them access to all the gifts that Jesus wants his people to enjoy. This website has a wealth of resources (DVDs, Study Programs, CDs, Lectures, Homilies, Articles, etc.).

The Wild Goose is Loose (Fr. Dave Pivonka) -
The Wild Goose was a term that the ancient Celts had for the Holy Spirit. The Wild Goose Project is a simple attempt to invite Catholic Christians into a more profound life giving relationship with the Holy Spirit. This is a relationship marked by the love of God which breathes life into our daily existence. The Holy Spirit is not merely something relegated to Confirmation but the Spirit desires a relationship with us that will take us on the greatest adventure imaginable; a journey to the very Heart of God. The Holy Spirit desires to be present to us in a manner that brings light out of darkness, freedom out of bondage, order out of chaos and life out of death.
Saint Paul Center (Dr. Scott Hahn) -
The St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology is a non-profit research and educational institute that promotes life-transforming Scripture study in the Catholic tradition. The Center serves clergy and laity, students and scholars, with research and study tools — from books and publications to multimedia and on-line programming.

Real Life Catholic (Chris Stefanick) -
Real Life Catholic’s purpose is to ignite a bold, contagious faith in the heart of every Catholic in America, by building a movement of Catholics who share the beauty, power and truth of the Gospel with a world that has largely forgotten. Check out the website for great resources (videos and a specific challenge for men.
The Church Alive -
CMF is looking to more closely align with the Bishop Zubik's pastoral letter on "The ChurchAlive". Please have your group prayerfully read this letter together and discuss the questions at the end.
SignPost, How to be a Catholic Man in the World Today
Many groups are using "SignPost, How to be a Catholic Man in the World Today" as a good starting point for their Fellowship. SignPosts was written by two Catholic Deacons and has 52 separate lessons which practically apply Sacred Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church to our everyday life. The lessons progress from our relationship with God; to a discussion on being a virtuous man; to our relationship with our Family; and finally to our relationship with our community. SignPost can be found here.
That Man is You - http://www.paradisusdei.org/tmiy/.
In addition, some CMF groups are using a series called "That Man is You." This series is also presented with a DVD and then followed with small group discussions.
Videos.Church is your home for online Catholic education courses that impact your life.
By giving you tools you need to learn and share your faith, we want to be a go-to resource for individuals looking to grow in their faith and apply that faith to their life.
"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love."
